A Bidding War for Tribune Media?
21st Century Fox and Blackstone are in talks to make an offer for Tribune Media.
But they’re not the only ones who are interested — Sinclair Broadcast Group has already made its own bid, and Nextar, a Texas-based broadcaster, is also apparently considering an offer, according to The Wall Street Journal and Bloomberg.
The competing offers could trigger a bidding war for Tribune Media, which owns 42 stations and has a market value of about $3.2 billion.
